the isolations and shimmies of bellydance in this introductory class. You will find that it not only strengthens
your core but works the entire body in a fun way. It is a dance form open to all ages and

BRAZILIAN SAMBA BEGINNER

this class, Soraya will teach you Brazilian Samba, one of the most
sensual dances in the world. Samba will help you improve your rhythm,
posture, strength and grace. With sexy moves, fast footwork and very
sensual hip shakes, you will dance to the music of Carnival, get a great
workout and have fun!!

FESTEJO (AFRO PERUVIAN DANCE)

In this class, you will learn a highly energetic
and sensual dance which is the most representative dance genre of the black
coastal population of Peru - Afro Peruvian Folklore Dance.

MERENGUE PERFORMANCE

Merengue is considered the national dance and music
of the Dominican Republic, but nowadays it is one of the most popular dances in
all Latin America. In this class, you will learn an easy and fun Merengue
routine to be performed at the end of the term at the Hispanic Fiesta Festival!

LADIES STYLING SALSA PERFORMANCE
Tuesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, May 7 - Aug 27 (17 weeks) Add style and sensuality to your dance. Lady
styling can enhance the whole picture of a partner dancing. In these lessons,
you will learn tips to impress him and express yourself on the dance floor and
at the same time learning a choreographed routine to perform at the end of the
term at the Hispanic Fiesta Festival.

BRAZILIAN SAMBA PERFORMANCE
Tuesdays from 8:30 - 9:30 pm, May 7 - Aug 27 (17 weeks) In this course, you will learn an entire
choreographed Brazilian Samba routine to perform at the end of the term at the
Hispanic Fiesta Festival. This class will help to improve your memory of Samba
movements, enhance your styling, and improve your timing and musicality. This
class will challenge you to bring out your inner performer and will help to
increase your confidence in front of an audience. Of course, all while meeting
new people and having fun at the Samba rhythm!

SALSA BEGINNER

This class is designed for students with little
or no Salsa dance experience. You will learn the basic Salsa Steps,
timing and rhythm, proper turning technique and how to lead and follow –
Fundamentals of salsa in both open shines and partner work, all while
having fun.

you don’t need a partner to learn how to dance it. This dance is completely
choreographed and the movements tend to mimic the lyrics. It's a very energetic
kind of dance that mixes elements of Samba no pé and aerobics, so you get a
workout while having fun!

This years 2nd Annual Brazilian Beat Canada Dance Congress is approaching quickly. Soraya has choreographed and exhilarating, meticulous Samba perfomance that will be performed by her Dance team. Soraya's team performed in the first annual Brazilian Beat Canada Dance Congress in 2011 which can be viewed in the videos gallery, it was a dazzling ,entertaining and spirited performance which the dancers promise to exceed this year. Be sure to make yourself available for this years event on Sunday April 29th. You do not want to miss it !!!
